A, B, C. Three characters to choose from
A、B、C。から選べる３つのキャラクター
Solstice offers three different kinds of saturation.
A is the cleanest of the three. Once DRIVE passes the halfway point, it thickens quickly. ODD adds only odd harmonics, EVEN adds only even harmonics.
B is a round distortion. From around the middle of DRIVE, the third, fourth and fifth harmonics stack up and the tone thickens, while loud peaks are held back. The lows are lifted slightly.
C adds a trace of second harmonic at low DRIVE. From the middle up, the third harmonic takes the lead and the tone turns rough. It lifts quiet sounds and holds back loud ones, so the sound gets denser the further you turn.
Solsticeには、質感の違う3つのサチュレーションが入っています。
Aは3つの中でいちばんクリーン。DRIVEが半分を過ぎると一気に濃くなります。ODDは奇数倍音だけ、EVENは偶数倍音だけを足します。
Bは、丸い歪み。DRIVE 中盤あたりから3次、4次、5次と高い倍音が重なって厚くなり、大きな音のピークも抑えます。低域がわずかに持ち上がります。
Cは、低いDRIVEでは2次倍音がうっすら乗ります。中ほどから3次倍音が前に出て、荒い質感に変わります。小さな音を持ち上げ、大きな音を抑えるので、回すほど密度が増します。

Once you have picked a character, DRIVE is the only thing you need to touch. It moves in steps of 0.1, and holding Shift makes it finer still. Double-click to return to the neutral point of the selected character.
キャラクターを選んだら、触るのはDRIVEノブひとつだけ。0.1刻みで動き、Shiftを押しながら回せばさらに細かく追い込めます。ダブルクリックで、選んでいるキャラクターの中立点に戻ります。

The HEAT lamp glows brighter the harder you drive, so you can tell at a glance how much saturation you are applying. Blend the original signal back in with MIX, match the level with OUTPUT, and compare against the dry sound with BYPASS.
HEATランプは、深くかけるほど明るく光ります。どれくらいかかっているかが、ひと目でわかります。MIXで原音と混ぜ、OUTPUTで音量を揃え、BYPASSで元の音と聴き比べられます。
